What student information do we collect and why do we use it?

  • ATC Language Schools are required to collect personally identifiable information for course bookings (Name, nationality, date of birth, contact details and medical emergency contacts).
  • If a Visa is required, ATC Language Schools are required to obtain your Passport Number.
  • Nationality is required to secure a strong nationality mix across our schools and to ensure one nationality per Host Family.
  • Specific medical and dietary information regarding your accommodation or study needs are required to be obtained.

All your personal information is kept securely and only used:

  • to enrol you in our school, 
  • to process transactions, 
  • to help with visa applications, 
  • to book accommodation 
  • to organise airport transfers 

Security

Once sensitive information is submitted via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

While ATC Language Schools protects sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/files in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
